Important Installation Information:
This air conditioning equipment comes pre-charged with R-410A liquid refrigerant, which by Federal law cannot be released into the atmosphere. You can purchase this equipment without EPA certification and perform most of the installation yourself if you are mechanically inclined. However, we strongly recommend having a professional HVAC contractor handle the final installation steps, including managing the refrigerant. A professional contractor has the necessary tools and expertise to complete the installation correctly and safely, ensuring your warranty with Alpine is validated.
